HRM Queen Elizabeth II arrives in UgandaEntebbe21 Nov 2007
Her Royal Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, has as of 5:15 pm EAST arrived at Entebbe International Airport, Uganda, for a three day state visit ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) opening on Friday.Her Majesty is accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. The Queen comes on invitation of the President of the Republic of Uganda, HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, for a three day state visit. Queen Elizabeth II, the Head of the Commonwealth, shall be opening CHOGM2007 on Friday.
This is the Queen’s second visit, having come to Uganda in 1954.
