UGANDA CRANES VS NIGERIA

A multitude of Ugandans joined to rally support to the uganda cranes in what possibly was the biggest guesture of solidarity since indipendence. The streets of Kampala were filled with joyous celebrants as the entire country cheers after an African Nations Cup qualifier against a star-studded Nigeria.A second goal in as many penalties, taken by Cranes team captain ended the 45,000 attended match 2-1 in favour of the hosts at the Mandela National Stadium in Namboole. The win was sweet revenge for the cranes who had their legitimate goal rejected in the first leg in Nigeria. Ealier on in the match, Nigeria had taken lead through France-based striker John Utaka who broke the deadlock with a pass from Nwanko Kanu before David Obua converted the first penalty after Geoffret Massa was fouled by Rabiu Afolabi. The cranes continued to press until Nigeria goalkeeper brought down Geoffrey Massa - this time captain Ibrahim Sekajja stepping up to score the match winner. BRAVO UGANDA CRANES, BRAVO UGANDANS FOR THAT MASSIVE MORALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALUTA CONTINUA!!!!!!!!!!!!
